Roron Corobb - Page 2

Three years later, Corobb and Lo'gaan returned to Coruscant for a brief reprieve. They were on the surface when General Grievous launched his invasion attack and attempted to kidnap Chancellor Palpatine. Lo'gaan did not accompany Master Corobb as he joined Jedi Masters Stass Allie, Foul Moudama, and Shaak Ti in protecting the Chancellor from Grievous who wanted to carry out the kidnapping himself. Storming into the Chancellor's office, Grivous confronted the team of Jedi. In a thirlling chase through the government district of Coruscant, the Jedi battled Grievous on the cityscapes and even on the high-speed transit trains. As the Jedi hustled the Chancellor to an underground bunker, Grievous managed to cut them off at the path.

As Shaak Ti was kept busy with the general's Magna Droids, Roron Corobb and Foul Moudama faced off against Grievous to protect Palpatine. Even two against one, the Jedi Masters were not skilled enough to best Grievous despite the fact he had no access to the Force. Grievous initially engaged the two Jedi wielding two lightsabers, but during the battle utilized his four arms to attack Corobb and Moudama with no less than four. This was the point in which the battle turned and the pair was cut down with apparent ease. The sad fact of the matter was that it was Palpatine, under the guise of Darth Sidious who orchestrated the entire kidnapping scheme as part of his plot to exact revenge on the Jedi and control the galaxy. Some might say Corobb and Moudama died for nothing, but one fact cannot be disputed; Roron Corobb died alongside Foul Moudama as a Jedi Knight.
